We teamed up One Medical with Bieber's songwriter to highlight mental health treatment.
Nearly one in five adults in the U.S. lives with a mental illness, according to the National Institute of Mental Health. To shine a light on and help normalize this important issue, we paired primary care practice One Medical with iHeartMedia and its newest venture “Bear and a Banjo”–– a first-of-its-kind musical podcast, featuring Dennis Quaid, Grammy award-winning producer Poo Bear, and the co-founder of Jingle Punks Jingle Jared.
Utilizing iHeart's distribution and reach in the audio space and, more importantly, to align with mental health awareness, One Medical became the exclusive partner of the podcast and released a song called “Better Days,"– written by Poo Bear and Jingle Jared– featuring lyrics from over 200 anonymous internet posts about mental health.
The partnership and branded pop song hope to raise awareness of the rising mental health issues and remind listeners that One Medical is here to help.
